Olympus Workspace

Olympus Workspace is a RAW image editor and photo management application from OM Digital Solutions (formerly Olympus), designed for photographers who shoot with Olympus and Panasonic Lumix cameras. It provides RAW file processing, noise reduction, monochrome profile support, GPU-accelerated preview and export, and colour/grain adjustment tools. Photographers rely on it to import, organize, and edit images directly from their Micro Four Thirds cameras, and to batch process RAW files with noise reduction and profile application.</description> <parameter name="recommendation">Olympus Workspace has shipped a native Apple Silicon (arm64) build since at least 2021 — users in the Micro Four Thirds community have confirmed it detects and uses Apple Silicon GPU acceleration, with significant speed improvements over the previous Intel version. If your installed copy is still running under Rosetta 2 (check by opening Activity Monitor, adding the Architecture column, and looking for "Intel" next to the process), update to the latest version through OM Digital Solutions' support site or within the app's check-for-updates mechanism. Once you have the current native build, you will see much faster RAW preview rendering, especially with heavy noise reduction applied, and faster batch exports. The update is free for existing users.
