FilmConvertPro is an OpenFX plugin that runs inside your host application (DaVinci Resolve, Nuke, Fusion, or another OpenFX host), so it is not updated separately through the App Store or a generic download page. To update the plugin to a native Apple Silicon build, you must update it through Rubbermonkey's own installer or distribution channel. Visit the Rubbermonkey website or contact their support to download the current native-compatible version of FilmConvertPro for your host application. After installation, the plugin will appear alongside your other effects in the host's effects library. Also ensure your host application itself (DaVinci Resolve, Nuke, etc.) is running a current native Apple Silicon build — most modern versions of these applications ship natively, so updating the host will improve overall performance as well. If you cannot confirm whether Rubbermonkey has released a native Apple Silicon build of FilmConvertPro, reach out to them directly before macOS 28 ships in September 2028, as the Intel-only version will no longer launch on that release.
