It generates instrument sounds by simulating the resonant behaviour of strings, membranes, plates and other acoustic structures. Chromaphone 2 is popular with electronic music producers, sound designers and composers working in DAWs (Digital Audio Workstations), offering a library of preset sounds and real-time parameter control via MIDI.
