PhotoUploaderShellApp is not a standalone app but a launchAgent helper bundled within Synology Drive. It is updated automatically whenever you update the parent Synology Drive application — there is nothing to install or manage separately. If you need to ensure this component is running natively on Apple Silicon, check your installed Synology Drive application first to confirm it is the native Apple Silicon build; if it is still running under Rosetta, update Synology Drive to the latest version available from Synology's official downloads or from the Mac App Store if that is where your copy came from. Updating the main application automatically updates this helper to match. Given that Apple is removing Rosetta 2 in macOS 28 (September 2028), ensure Synology publishes a native build of Synology Drive well before that date so this helper continues to function after the Rosetta 2 cutoff.
