Wireless Workbench 6

Wireless Workbench 6 is Shure's professional audio software for managing and configuring Shure wireless microphone systems, in-ear monitoring systems, and digital audio networks. It is used by live sound engineers, broadcast professionals, and production teams to remotely control wireless transmitters and receivers, monitor signal strength, manage frequency coordination, and troubleshoot audio issues in real time. Shure has not yet released a native Apple Silicon build, as confirmed by the Does It ARM database as of May 2023. Since today is May 2026 and Apple will remove Rosetta 2 in macOS 28 (September 2028), you have roughly 28 months before this app stops launching entirely. Contact Shure directly to ask about Apple Silicon native support plans and when a Universal Binary or native arm64 build might be available. If Shure confirms they are working on a native build, you can safely continue using Wireless Workbench 6 under Rosetta 2 for now but should plan to upgrade once it ships. If Shure indicates they have no plans for a native build, you should research alternative wireless control software from other manufacturers, or plan your workflow around a dedicated Intel Mac or virtualization setup after September 2028.
