This is an FxPlug component — a transition effect plugin for Final Cut Pro, not a standalone application. FxPlug effects are updated through Red Giant's native plugin distribution channel, not through the Final Cut Pro App Store or a generic vendor download. To get the native Apple Silicon build, visit Red Giant's website and download the latest Red Giant Universe suite installer or use their plugin manager if already installed. Ensure your Final Cut Pro itself is updated to the latest version (which ships natively on Apple Silicon), as native host builds and native plugins work best together. The Universe suite ships Universal Binary versions that run natively on M-series Macs, so updating through Red Giant's distribution channel will replace any Intel-only builds you have. The transition effect will then run at full native performance rather than under emulation.
