Xerox Scanner Settings

Xerox Scanner Settings is a preference pane component that lives inside macOS System Settings, not a standalone application. It cannot be updated separately — the preference pane is updated only when you update the parent Xerox device driver software. To get a native Apple Silicon version of this component, download and install the latest Xerox driver package for your specific scanner or multifunction device from Xerox's support website, making sure to select the macOS driver that matches your device model and your Mac's architecture. Run the installer, which will replace the preference pane component with a current native build if one is available for your device. If Xerox has not yet released a native build for your specific device model, the preference pane will continue to run under Rosetta 2 — but be aware that Apple is removing Rosetta 2 in macOS 28, scheduled for September 2028, at which point Intel-only components will stop working. Check Xerox's driver download page regularly or contact Xerox support to confirm whether a native Apple Silicon build is planned for your device before that deadline.
