Suggested Replacements
1 suggestionAdobe Premiere Pro has shipped native Apple Silicon support since version 22.0 (released in late 2021). Anyone still running an older Intel-only build under Rosetta will see significantly better performance, faster rendering, and improved battery life on M-series Macs. The easiest way to update is to launch Creative Cloud and let it automatically upgrade to the latest version, or visit Adobe's download page directly. Existing projects, preferences and third-party plugin compatibility are preserved during the upgrade. If you have older legacy plugins that lack Apple Silicon support, they will continue to work under Rosetta translation, but Adobe advises checking the compatibility of critical third-party tools before upgrading your production environment.
