Citrix Workspace
Citrix Workspace is a remote desktop and application virtualization client that allows users to access Windows applications, desktops, and files hosted on corporate servers from their Mac. It's commonly used in enterprise environments where employees need to connect to company resources, run Windows-only software, or access virtual desktops from remote locations. The app provides secure connectivity to Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops services, enabling seamless integration between local Mac workflows and centralized corporate computing resources. IT departments typically deploy this solution to provide flexible access to business applications while maintaining centralized control and security.

1 suggestionGood news! Citrix has already released a Universal Binary version that runs natively on Apple Silicon Macs. According to Citrix's documentation, native Apple Silicon support was introduced in version 2308 (August 2023), and the current version 26.03.0.49 available through Homebrew is a Universal build that runs without Rosetta emulation. You should update to the latest version from Citrix's official download page or through your IT department. The Universal Architecture build automatically chooses to run in native Apple Silicon mode and provides better performance than the older Rosetta-dependent versions. Note that if you're on version 2301 or earlier, you'll need to manually download and install the newer version as auto-update won't work from those older releases.
