Disk Drill is a data recovery and disk utility suite for macOS that helps users recover deleted files, lost photos, and other data from internal drives, external storage, and memory cards. It scans for recoverable files using multiple recovery methods and presents a searchable preview interface to identify what you want to restore. Beyond recovery, Disk Drill includes disk cleaning, duplicate file detection, data backup, and disk health monitoring tools designed for both home users and IT professionals. The app is distributed both as a standalone download and via the Mac App Store (as Disk Drill Media Recovery).

1 suggestionA native Apple Silicon (Universal Binary) build of Disk Drill has been confirmed running on real Macs in the Rosetta Check community. Anyone still running an older Intel-only build under Rosetta will see noticeably better performance after updating to the latest version. The simplest way to obtain the native build is to download it directly from the official Disk Drill website, or if your copy came from the Mac App Store, update through the App Store instead.
