Corel AfterShot 3 (64-bit)
Corel AfterShot 3 is a professional RAW photo editing and digital asset management software designed for photographers who need to process large volumes of images efficiently. It offers non-destructive RAW processing, batch editing capabilities, lens corrections, and organizational tools for managing photo libraries. The software is particularly popular among professional photographers and serious enthusiasts who work with RAW files from various camera manufacturers. AfterShot 3 competes with applications like Adobe Lightroom and Capture One, focusing on speed and workflow efficiency for high-volume photo processing tasks.
Suggested Replacements
1 suggestionUnfortunately, Corel appears to have discontinued AfterShot 3, with no native Apple Silicon version released and no apparent active development since around 2017-2018. For a replacement, I recommend Adobe Lightroom Classic, which offers comprehensive RAW processing, excellent organizational tools, and full Apple Silicon support. Lightroom provides similar batch processing capabilities and supports an even wider range of camera formats. The main trade-off is that Lightroom requires a Creative Cloud subscription, whereas AfterShot 3 was a one-time purchase. Other viable alternatives include Capture One (also Apple Silicon native) for premium RAW processing, or Luminar Neo for a more affordable one-time purchase option.
