1 suggestionIBM SPSS Statistics does not currently have a native Apple Silicon version, but IBM has officially confirmed they are actively working on one. According to IBM's community forums, a native Apple Silicon version will be available in SPSS Statistics release 32.0.1, scheduled for September 2026. This gives users plenty of time before Apple removes Rosetta 2 support in macOS 28 (Fall 2027). For now, the current version 30.0 runs through Rosetta 2 translation on Apple Silicon Macs. Users should continue using their current version and watch for the upcoming native release rather than switching to alternatives, as SPSS has unique statistical capabilities that are difficult to replace.
