Microsoft released Universal versions of all core Office apps (including OneNote) in December 2020, optimized for both Intel and Apple Silicon processors. You should update to the latest version (16.109 or newer) to get native Apple Silicon support. You can download the update directly from Microsoft or through the Mac App Store. The native version will provide better performance and battery life on your Apple Silicon Mac compared to running the Intel version through Rosetta 2.
