SkyDrive
Microsoft OneDrive (formerly SkyDrive) is a cloud storage and file synchronization service that allows Mac users to store, sync, and share documents, photos, and other files across multiple devices. Users can access their files from anywhere, collaborate on documents in real-time with others using Office 365 or web-based versions of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and automatically backup important files to the cloud. It serves as both a personal backup solution and a collaboration platform for individuals and teams. The app provides seamless integration with macOS and the Microsoft Office suite.

1 suggestionMicrosoft has released a native Apple Silicon version of OneDrive. The modern OneDrive app for Mac is now built as a Universal Binary that supports both Intel and Apple Silicon architectures natively—you no longer need Rosetta 2. Update to the latest version from the Mac App Store or download it directly from Microsoft's website. The older "SkyDrive" branded version (v17.x) is outdated; Microsoft renamed and restructured the app years ago as "OneDrive." If you're still running the old SkyDrive 17.0.2033, you should upgrade immediately to the current OneDrive application, which offers improved performance, better macOS integration, and full Apple Silicon support.
