League of Legends has no native Apple Silicon build — the Intel version runs through Rosetta 2 translation on M-series Macs, and Riot Games has not announced plans to ship a native arm64 build. The good news is that Rosetta 2 handles it very well: real-world testing by players on M1, M2 and M3 Macs shows excellent performance (60–100+ FPS depending on hardware and graphics settings) and stability. However, since Apple is removing Rosetta 2 in macOS 28 (September 2028), you should plan ahead. Contact Riot Games to ask whether they intend to ship a native Apple Silicon build before that deadline. In the meantime, your game will continue running smoothly under Rosetta. If Riot does not announce a native build by mid-2028, you may need to consider alternatives like Valorant (also by Riot, with the same Rosetta situation), other MOBAs on Mac, or running League via a Windows emulator like Parallels Desktop as a contingency — though emulation will be slower than the current Rosetta experience.
