To ensure it runs natively on Apple Silicon, you must update the parent X-Rite color-management software product that installed this daemon. If you use X-Rite's spectrophotometer or profiling tools (such as the i1Profiler, i1Match, or colour-calibration plugins for Adobe apps), check the X-Rite website or your installed product's Help menu for an update. Launch the vendor's official installer or update utility for your X-Rite product; installing a newer version will replace this daemon with a native Apple Silicon build if one is available. Since we have limited public information about X-Rite's current native Apple Silicon support timeline, contact X-Rite support directly or visit their support portal to confirm that your specific colour tool ships a native build—especially important given the September 2028 deadline when Apple removes Rosetta 2 support entirely.
