QLPrettyPatch

QLPrettyPatch is a QuickLook generator plugin, which means it is not a standalone application — it is a system extension that integrates directly into macOS QuickLook's preview system. QuickLook generators are not separately updated via the Mac App Store or a vendor download page. Instead, to update QLPrettyPatch and ensure it runs natively on Apple Silicon, you must reinstall the plugin through the vendor's installer or direct download from Atnan. After installation, QuickLook itself (which is part of macOS and ships natively on all modern versions) will automatically use the native version of the plugin. If you are currently running the Intel version of QLPrettyPatch, reinstalling from the vendor will replace it with a native Apple Silicon build if one is available. Visit Atnan's website or repository to check whether a native build is available and to download the latest version. Once installed, your QuickLook previews of patch files will run natively on your M-series Mac.
