This is a launch agent component embedded within Waves Central, not a standalone application. It cannot be updated on its own. To ensure the Waves Plugin Shell and all its associated helpers (including this launch agent) are on a native Apple Silicon build, open Waves Central and check for updates via the application's own update mechanism. Waves Central itself shipped native Apple Silicon support in version 12.0 (released in 2021), and modern versions automatically download native versions of all Waves plugins and helpers. If you are running an older version of Waves Central or individual Waves plugins, updating Waves Central to the latest version via its built-in updater will refresh all components, including this launch agent, to their current native builds. Given that Apple is removing Rosetta 2 support in macOS 28 (September 2028), making sure Waves Central and all Waves plugins are fully updated now will prevent any breakage on future macOS releases.
