VirusBarrier X6 Service

VirusBarrier X6 Service is a component of Intego's VirusBarrier X6 security suite, not a standalone application. It cannot be updated separately — updating the parent VirusBarrier X6 application itself will update this Services bundle. To get a native Apple Silicon build of the service, ensure VirusBarrier X6 itself has been updated to a recent version that includes native Apple Silicon support. Check Intego's website or launch VirusBarrier X6 and use its built-in update mechanism (typically Help → Check for Updates) to confirm you are running the latest native build. If VirusBarrier X6 is still running under Rosetta 2, updating the main application will resolve this for the Services bundle as well. Note that macOS will remove Rosetta 2 entirely in September 2028 with the release of macOS 28, so both VirusBarrier X6 and its bundled Services components must be updated to native builds before that date.
