For currency tracking and exchange rate monitoring on Apple Silicon Macs, we recommend trying one of these native alternatives: Finder's built-in currency conversion (via Spotlight), the free app Cashculator (which includes exchange rates and is actively maintained), or simply using your web browser to access real-time rate services like XE.com, OANDA, or your bank's currency converter—all of which work perfectly on Apple Silicon without requiring Rosetta 2. If you have critical workflows that depend specifically on GetRate's interface, you may continue using it under Rosetta 2 for now, but plan to migrate to one of these alternatives before Rosetta 2 support ends.
