PhotoLooksRenderer

PhotoLooksRenderer is an embedded framework, not a standalone application—it is part of Red Giant's PhotoLooks plugin system and cannot be updated separately. To ensure you have a native Apple Silicon build of this framework, update the PhotoLooks plugins themselves through Red Giant's installer or the Creative Cloud add-ons manager within your host application (Photoshop, Lightroom, or After Effects). Visit the Red Giant website or launch the host application's built-in plugin/extensions panel to check for and install the latest PhotoLooks release. Confirm that the version you install is explicitly marked as supporting Apple Silicon, as Red Giant has shipped native builds of most major plugins since 2021. If you are running an older Intel-only build of PhotoLooks, the framework will continue to work under Rosetta 2 until Apple removes it in macOS 28 (September 2028), at which point the entire plugin will stop functioning—so updating to a native build ahead of that deadline is important if PhotoLooks is part of your regular workflow.
