GateyWatey is an Audio Unit plugin component of Boz Digital Labs' product suite, not a standalone app. To ensure you have the native Apple Silicon version, you will need to update Boz Digital Labs' products through the vendor's own installer or product management tool — not through the Mac App Store or a generic download page. Visit the Boz Digital Labs website and check for their plugin installer or account portal (many professional audio vendors use a dedicated app or portal to manage plugin versions and licenses). Once you update through the vendor's channel, all of their AU plugins, including GateyWatey, will be available in their native Apple Silicon build. If you are unsure how Boz Digital Labs distributes updates, contact their support directly to confirm the correct update path for your plugins. This is particularly important to resolve before macOS 28 arrives in September 2028, when Rosetta 2 will be removed and Intel-only plugins will no longer launch.
