About This App

Bazille is a large modular synthesizer plugin from u-he, used by sound designers, electronic music producers, and experimental musicians. It combines digital oscillators (with FM, phase distortion, and fractal resonance), multimode analogue-style filters, two LFOs, four envelope generators, and built-in effects including stereo delay, distortion, phaser and spring reverb. The synthesizer supports polyphonic patching with extensive modulation routing, a 16-step morphing sequencer, and over 1700 factory presets. Bazille requires a digital audio workstation (DAW) or other host application to run and is available in AU, VST3, AAX and CLAP formats.

Bazille is an Audio Unit (AU) plugin that runs inside a host DAW — there is no standalone app to update. To get the native Apple Silicon build of Bazille, you must update u-he's plugin suite using the u-he Installer, their official update and license-management tool. Visit u-he.com, download the u-he Installer, log in with your account, and use it to fetch the latest Bazille build. The vendor has shipped native Apple Silicon support for all major products including Bazille since 2021, so the installer will automatically select the native arm64 build on M-series Macs. If you prefer a plugin manager, some DAWs (like Logic Pro and certain others) may offer in-host plugin management, but the u-he Installer is the primary and most reliable channel for staying current.
