DUNE2

DUNE 2 is a VST plugin, not a standalone application, so it is not updated separately from your DAW or plugin manager. To ensure you have a native Apple Silicon build, you need to update DUNE 2 through Audiounit's vendor installer or update mechanism. Visit the Audiounit (Synapse Audio) website to download the latest version of DUNE 2 and install it using their installer — this will ensure the native Apple Silicon build is deployed to your system. If DUNE 2 was originally installed via a third-party plugin manager (such as Native Access, iLok License Manager, or a DAW's built-in plugin browser), check that service first to see if an update is available there. Confirm that your host DAW itself is running a native Apple Silicon build — most modern DAWs (Ableton Live, Logic Pro, Cubase, FL Studio, Reaper) ship native builds for M-series Macs, and the plugin will perform best when both the host and plugin are native. If Audiounit has not yet released a native Apple Silicon build of DUNE 2, watch their website or contact their support team directly — Intel-only plugins will stop launching on macOS 28 (September 2028) when Apple removes Rosetta 2 support.
