VsmEmbroidery12Quicklook is a QuickLook system extension, not a standalone application, so it cannot be updated separately through the App Store or a generic download. Instead, it is bundled with and updated by the parent VSM Embroidery 12 application itself. To ensure the QuickLook plugin receives a native Apple Silicon build, reinstall or update the main Embroidery 12 application from Vsmsoftware. Check the vendor's website or within the Embroidery 12 application (Help → Check for Updates) for the latest version; if a native Apple Silicon build is available there, installing or updating the main app will automatically register the native QuickLook generator on your Mac. If you are unsure whether VSM has released a native build yet, contact the vendor directly, as there is still time before the September 2028 macOS 28 deadline when Rosetta 2 support ends.
