QuickJLookSON

QuickJLookSON is a QuickLook generator plugin, not a standalone application, so it is not updated through the App Store or a separate vendor download. QuickLook generators are system extensions that must be reinstalled by updating the parent product from the vendor. To check whether a native Apple Silicon version exists, visit the vendor's (Sagtau's) website or contact them directly to determine if they have released an updated version of the plugin that includes native Apple Silicon support. If a native build is available, download and install it from the vendor's site — this will replace the Intel-only version on your Mac. If the vendor has not yet released a native build, the plugin continues to run under Rosetta 2 today, but Apple is removing Rosetta in macOS 28 (September 2028), so the plugin will stop working on that release unless the vendor ships a native version beforehand. Check back periodically with Sagtau to see if an update is planned.
