Avid Link is a system component that manages licensing and updates for Avid's professional software suite (Pro Tools, Media Composer, etc.), not a standalone application. It runs under Rosetta 2 on Apple Silicon Macs but there is no confirmed native Apple Silicon build of Avid Link itself. Since Avid's main products like Pro Tools have begun shipping native builds in recent years, Avid Link will eventually need a native version to support those applications fully on Apple Silicon without Rosetta 2.
