About This App

Jubler is a free, open-source subtitle editor for Windows, macOS and Linux. It is used to create new subtitles from scratch, convert between subtitle formats (SubRip, SubStation Alpha, MicroDVD, Spruce, and others), and adjust timing, synchronisation and styling on existing subtitle files. The app includes features like graphical waveform preview, real-time subtitle playback and editing, spell checking, time-shift correction, and frame-rate conversion. A native Apple Silicon build has been confirmed running on Macs in the Rosetta Check community.

A native Apple Silicon build of Jubler is available now. Visit the official download page at videohelp.com and select "Download Jubler 10.0.0 Mac Silicon ARM 64-bit" — this is the native arm64 build that requires no Rosetta emulation. The standard download option will automatically serve the correct architecture for your Mac, so simply re-download and install to replace your Intel version. Your existing subtitle projects, preferences and encoding settings will carry over without any migration needed. The native build delivers noticeably faster performance and better battery life, and future-proofs you against Apple's removal of Rosetta 2 in macOS 28 (late 2027).
