This is a Spotlight importer — a system plugin bundled with Vsmsoftware's embroidery application rather than a standalone app. It is not updated separately; instead, it is updated when you update the parent Vsmsoftware embroidery product. To ensure the Spotlight importer works correctly and is built for Apple Silicon, reinstall or update the main Vsmsoftware embroidery application to the latest available version from Vsmsoftware's website or vendor installer. If the parent embroidery app is already on a native Apple Silicon build, the importer should be native as well. If you have not updated the Vsmsoftware application in some time, check the vendor's website for a current release and re-install or update it — this will also update the Spotlight importer to match. Given that Apple is removing Rosetta 2 in macOS 28 (September 2028), it is important that both the main embroidery application and its Spotlight importer are running native builds by that date.
