USB Display Agent is not a standalone app — it is a helper component that ships as part of Epson Drivers and is updated only when Epson Drivers itself is updated. To ensure this component runs natively on Apple Silicon, you must update Epson Drivers through Epson's official driver installer from epson.com/support. Download the latest Epson Drivers package for your Mac and run the installer to replace the Intel version with a native build. Do not attempt to manually delete or replace the launchAgent file — reinstalling the parent driver package handles this automatically. If you are unsure whether a native build of Epson Drivers is available yet, visit Epson's support site, enter your device model, and check the available macOS driver downloads; Epson has begun rolling out native Apple Silicon versions of their driver suites, but availability varies by device. Since Apple is removing Rosetta 2 in macOS 28 (September 2028), confirm your Epson Drivers are on a current native build before that date to ensure your devices continue to function.
