QuickLookCSV

QuickLookCSV is a QuickLook generator plugin that extends macOS's built-in Quick Look system, not a standalone application. It is not updated separately through the App Store or a generic vendor download. Instead, QuickLook generators are updated by reinstalling the plugin itself or by updating the parent product that ships it. To ensure you have a native Apple Silicon version of QuickLookCSV, you will need to obtain it directly from the developer (Google Code) or from a trusted third-party repository that distributes native builds. We recommend visiting the official QuickLookCSV repository or the developer's site to check for an update that explicitly mentions Apple Silicon or arm64 support. If no native version is currently available and you rely on CSV preview functionality, consider the alternative of using Finder's native file information panel or opening CSVs directly in Numbers or Excel (both have native Apple Silicon builds) until a native QuickLookCSV build is confirmed. Since Apple is removing Rosetta 2 in macOS 28 (September 2028), confirming native support sooner is important if you plan to use this plugin long-term on future macOS releases.
