Mobile Backup Status Server is a system daemon that ships as part of Acronis True Image or Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office — it cannot be updated separately. According to Acronis' own documentation, native Apple Silicon support for macOS was added to Acronis True Image and Cyber Protect Home Office starting in 2021, so if you are running a current build of either product, the daemon should already be running natively on your M-series Mac. To ensure you have the latest native version with full Apple Silicon support: launch your Acronis backup application and check Help or Settings for an update option (most Acronis products update automatically or have a dedicated Check for Updates button), or visit Acronis' website to download the latest macOS installer directly. Once the parent backup application updates to a current native build, this daemon will automatically run natively as well. There is nothing to configure or update for the daemon on its own.
