WaveShell2-AAX 13.0.0 is a component plugin that runs inside Pro Tools, not a standalone application, and requires two things to work natively on Apple Silicon. First, Pro Tools itself must be on version 2023.6 or newer (the version that introduced native Apple Silicon support); if your Pro Tools is older, update it through Avid Application Manager. Second, Waves Audio plugins are managed through Waves Central, the vendor's plugin installer and license manager. Launch Waves Central, ensure your installed Waves plugins are at version 13 or newer, and verify they show as "Arm" or "Universal" rather than "Intel" in the Installed Plugins list. Waves Central will automatically serve native Apple Silicon builds of all plugins to M-series Macs.
