PTEq-X

PTEq-X is an audio plugin, not a standalone app, so it cannot be updated independently through the App Store or a generic download. To get a native Apple Silicon version, you need to update it through Igniteamps' own installer or update mechanism. Visit igniteamps.com to download the latest version of PTEq-X or check whether Igniteamps offers an auto-update utility for their plugins. Make sure your host application (Logic Pro, Garageband, or whichever DAW you use) is also running a native Apple Silicon build — most major DAWs shipped native support by 2021, but older versions may need updating. Once both the host and the plugin are native, you will see improved performance and lower CPU usage. If Igniteamps does not yet offer a native Apple Silicon build of PTEq-X, contact them directly to confirm their roadmap before macOS 28 ships in September 2028, since Intel-only audio plugins will stop loading at that point.
