Emissary

Emissary is an AudioUnit plugin that runs inside the Ignite Amps host application and compatible DAWs, not as a standalone product. To ensure you have a native Apple Silicon build, check whether Ignite Amps itself has been updated to a version that ships native plugins. Visit the Ignite Amps website and download the latest version of the Ignite Amps installer — this will update the Emissary plugin along with the rest of their plugin suite. If you use Emissary as a plugin within a third-party DAW, you may also need to ensure that DAW is running a native Apple Silicon build for best compatibility. We have limited public information about whether Emissary currently ships as a native AudioUnit; if you are unsure whether you have the native version after updating Ignite Amps, contact their support team directly. The deadline for a working native build is September 2028, when Apple removes Rosetta 2 support and Intel-only audio plugins will stop loading in most hosts.
