iZotope Ozone 7 Exciter

Ozone 7 Exciter is a plugin component, not a standalone application, and cannot be updated separately. To update the plugin and ensure it has a native Apple Silicon build, use iZotope's Product Portal, which is the official update and license-management tool for iZotope plugins. Launch iZotope Product Portal, sign in with your iZotope account, navigate to your installed plugins, and check for available updates. If a native Apple Silicon version is available, Product Portal will offer it as an update option. Install it through that channel. Alternatively, if you have the iZotope installer on disk, re-running it will give you the option to install or update to the native build. Be aware that iZotope shipped native Apple Silicon builds for most major products starting around 2021-2022, so if your Ozone 7 Exciter is a recent build it may already have native support — Product Portal will show you definitively. If you are relying on a much older Ozone 7 build that predates native support, plan to update before September 2028, when macOS 28 removes Rosetta 2 entirely and Intel-only plugins will stop loading.
