To ensure you have the native Apple Silicon build, update Pro Tools itself to the latest version using the Avid Application Manager — Avid has shipped native Pro Tools builds since version 2023.6, and these native hosts automatically load native AAX plugins including Trim. Open the Avid Application Manager on your Mac, check for updates to Pro Tools, and install the latest available build. Once Pro Tools is native, any AAX plugins you have installed (including Trim) will run natively as well. You do not need to reinstall Trim separately — updating the host product is all that is required.
