This is an FxPlug plugin for Final Cut Pro, not a standalone application. To update Universe Glow to a native Apple Silicon build, you need to update Red Giant's software through their official installer. Red Giant ships their effects plugins, including the Universe collection, via a vendor-specific installer or through FxFactory (their effects marketplace). Check the Red Giant website for the current FxPlug installer and run it to get the native Apple Silicon build of Universe Glow — a simple Final Cut Pro reinstall or plugin folder update alone will not add native support. Confirm that your copy of Final Cut Pro itself is running a recent native build as well (Final Cut Pro X 10.3 and later ship native; if you are on an older version, update Final Cut Pro through the Mac App Store first). Once both Final Cut Pro and the Universe Glow plugin are native, you will see better real-time performance and lower CPU usage during editing.
