Universe ToonIt is an FxPlug plugin for Final Cut Pro, not a standalone app, so it cannot be updated independently through the App Store or a generic download. To get a native Apple Silicon build, you need to update the parent Red Giant Universe plugin suite via Red Giant's own installer. Visit redgiant.com, log in to your Red Giant account, download the current Universe plugin bundle installer, and run it — this will update all Universe plugins including ToonIt to their native Apple Silicon versions if available in the current release. Alternatively, if you have Red Giant Complete or Motion Bro, check Red Giant's application manager or installer tool to update the entire suite at once. After updating, Final Cut Pro will automatically detect and load the native plugins. If you are unsure whether your current Universe build includes a native version, check Red Giant's release notes for the version you are installing — native Apple Silicon support was added to most Universe plugins in recent releases. Ensure your Final Cut Pro itself is also on a current native build (version 10.7 or newer) for optimal compatibility.
