IJNetworkToolHelper is a system daemon bundled inside the Canon Printer Drivers package — it is not separately installable or updateable on its own. To migrate this helper to native Apple Silicon, you must update the parent Canon Printer Drivers package through Canon's official installer or driver utility. Visit Canon's support website, locate the printer or multifunction device model, and download the latest macOS driver package for your device. Run the installer, which will replace the Intel-only daemon with a native version automatically. If you have already installed Canon drivers, you can also check for updates through the Canon system utilities if they are present on your Mac (often found in Applications or in the menu bar). Because this is a background service rather than a user-facing app, the update may not show obvious changes in functionality, but migrating away from the Intel build is important — Apple is removing Rosetta 2 in macOS 28 (September 2028), so any Intel-only helper daemon will stop running on that release.
