Universe ToonIt Retouch is an FxPlug effect plugin for Final Cut Pro and is not updated separately from its host or from Red Giant's installer tools. To ensure you have a native Apple Silicon build, update your installation through Red Giant Link, Red Giant's centralised plugin and update manager. Open Red Giant Link, log in or create an account, and check for available updates to the Universe plugin suite — the latest builds are native across all Red Giant video effects. If you have not yet installed Red Giant Link, visit Red Giant's website to download it; it handles both installation and updating of Universe and all other Red Giant video and graphics plugins. Final Cut Pro itself is a native app on Apple Silicon, so it will use any native plugins you provide. Ensure your Final Cut Pro is also on a recent build from Apple, which you can update through the Mac App Store.
