Red 2 EQ

Red 2 EQ is an AAX plugin for Pro Tools, not a standalone application, so it cannot be updated separately. To get a native Apple Silicon version of this plugin, you need to ensure both Pro Tools itself and the plugin are on native builds. First, update Pro Tools to version 2023.6 or newer — Pro Tools did not ship a native Apple Silicon build until version 2023.6, and AAX plugins require a native-capable host to run natively. Once Pro Tools is on a native build, contact Focusrite directly or check their website to confirm that Red 2 EQ has been released in a native AAX form. If a native version is available, use Focusrite's installer or plugin manager to download and install it. Note that you have until September 2028 (when Apple removes Rosetta 2 in macOS 28) to complete this transition, as Intel-only AAX plugins will stop working on that release.
