This is an FxPlug plugin for Final Cut Pro, not a standalone application — it cannot be updated separately from Final Cut Pro itself. To ensure you have the native Apple Silicon build, you have two options. First, verify that Final Cut Pro is on the latest native version (launch Final Cut Pro, go to Final Cut Pro → About Final Cut Pro, and compare against Apple's latest released version). Second, check Red Giant's website for the Universe plugin collection — Red Giant maintains a separate installer or updater (typically "Red Giant Complete" or a Universe-specific plugin manager) that handles plugin distribution. Visit redgiant.com and look for their plugin update tool or download page. If you installed Universe plugins through Red Giant's installer originally, re-running that installer or checking for plugin updates within Red Giant's control panel will ensure you get the native build. Since Rosetta 2 will be removed in macOS 28 (September 2028), confirming both Final Cut Pro and your Red Giant plugins are on native builds is important — native plugins will continue to work after that date, but Intel-only versions will not launch.
