EmagicUSBMIDIDriver

EmagicUSBMIDIDriver is a system MIDI driver component that is not separately updatable outside of macOS itself. The driver receives updates exclusively through macOS system updates, not through a vendor installer or separate download channel. Since a native Apple Silicon build has already been confirmed by members of the Rosetta Check community, your Mac may already have it if you are running a current version of macOS on Apple Silicon hardware. To ensure you have the latest native version, open System Settings, go to General → Software Update, and install any available macOS updates. This will refresh CoreMIDI and all embedded system drivers including EmagicUSBMIDIDriver to their native builds. If you are still running an older macOS or have not updated in some time, performing a full system update is the correct path. After updating, your Emagic USB MIDI hardware should be recognised and function at native performance without relying on Rosetta 2 translation. If your specific Emagic MIDI device is no longer recognised after a macOS update, contact Emagic (now part of Apple's Music Division) or your hardware vendor's support site to confirm compatibility and whether a replacement or supplementary driver is available.
