This is an FxPlug plugin for Final Cut Pro, not a standalone application. To ensure you have a native Apple Silicon build, update Red Giant Universe through Red Giant's installer or their software management tool. If you installed Universe via a standalone Red Giant installer, visit the Red Giant website and download the latest Universe installer for macOS — it will detect your existing installation and update it to the native build if available. Alternatively, if Universe was part of a Creative Cloud subscription or bundle, check the vendor's portal directly. Universe Generators Grid itself has no separate update mechanism — it is updated as part of the parent Universe plugin suite. Confirm that your version of Final Cut Pro is also running natively on Apple Silicon (check Final Cut Pro's About window), as this ensures full compatibility and performance with native plugins.
