Wave_Shredder

Wave Shredder is an Audio Unit plugin component, not a standalone app, so it cannot be updated directly from the App Store or a generic download page. To update it to a native Apple Silicon build (if available), you need to use Aom-Factory's installer or plugin manager. Visit the Aom-Factory website or contact them directly to download any available native build of Wave Shredder, then install it into your system's Audio Unit plugin directory (typically ~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/ or /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/). Alternatively, if Aom-Factory offers a plugin manager or central updater tool similar to iLok License Manager or other plugin vendors' installers, use that to check for updates. Once installed, the plugin will be available in your DAW's plugin list. If no native build is currently available from Aom-Factory, the Intel-only version will continue to work under Rosetta 2 until Apple removes it in macOS 28 (September 2028), at which point the plugin will stop loading entirely — contact the vendor now to confirm their timeline for Apple Silicon support if this is a critical tool in your workflow.
