Universe_Utilities_Fill_Alpha_FXPLUG

This is an FxPlug component embedded within Red Giant's Universe suite, not a standalone application. To update it to a native Apple Silicon build, you must update the parent Universe suite itself through Red Giant's installer. Visit redgiantsoftware.com (or use Red Giant Link, the company's update manager if you already have it installed) to download the latest version of Universe for Final Cut Pro. Red Giant has released native Apple Silicon builds of its major effects suites as of 2023, so downloading the current version will provide the native architecture alongside Final Cut Pro. Simply re-downloading from the Mac App Store or using Final Cut Pro's own plugin manager will not give you a separate update option — the plugin lives inside the Universe package and is updated only by updating that parent product. If you are running an older version of Universe under Rosetta, switching to the native build will improve performance and reduce CPU load during effects rendering in Final Cut Pro.
