SciFi has a confirmed native Apple Silicon build running on real Macs. To access the native version, you need to update Pro Tools itself to version 2023.6 or later — Avid made Pro Tools native to Apple Silicon starting with that release, and native AAX plugins like SciFi ship alongside it. The simplest path is to launch Pro Tools, go to Help → Updates (or check your Avid Application Manager), and install the latest Pro Tools update. Once Pro Tools is on a current native build, its plugin ecosystem — including SciFi — automatically updates to native versions. If you installed Pro Tools via direct download from Avid rather than through the Application Manager, visit avid.com and use the Avid Application Manager to pull the latest build; the Application Manager handles both Pro Tools and its bundled plugins in one go. After updating, Pro Tools and SciFi will both run natively on your Apple Silicon Mac with full performance, rather than through Rosetta 2 emulation.
