Engine

Engine is a VST plugin component produced by MAGIX, not a standalone application, so it cannot be updated independently through the App Store or a generic vendor download. The plugin is updated through your host DAW's plugin manager or by reinstalling MAGIX's plugin suite using MAGIX's own installer. To update Engine to a native Apple Silicon build (if one is available), visit the MAGIX website, download the current version of their plugin suite installer for macOS, and run it — this will update Engine and any other MAGIX plugins you have installed. If you are unsure whether MAGIX has released a native Apple Silicon version of Engine, contact MAGIX support directly or check their plugin product page. Be aware that the plugin can only run natively if your host DAW is also running a native Apple Silicon build — if your DAW is still Intel-only under Rosetta, the plugin will run under Rosetta regardless of its own architecture. Given that Apple will remove Rosetta 2 entirely in macOS 28 (September 2028), confirm with MAGIX that a native build of Engine exists and that your DAW supports it natively before that deadline.
