This is a helper component bundled inside Time Machine Editor, not a standalone application. There is nothing to update separately—updating the parent app (Time Machine Editor itself) is what will update this daemon. Contact Timesoftware directly or check their website to confirm that Time Machine Editor has a native Apple Silicon build, as we could not find recent information about the app's architecture status. If Time Machine Editor does ship a native build, simply update to the latest version through whatever method you originally installed it (vendor download page, Mac App Store, or the app's built-in updater). The daemon will be updated automatically as part of that process. If a native build is not yet available, monitor the vendor's site before macOS 28 ships in September 2028, as Intel-only apps will stop working on that release.
